Image Shows Supernova Remnant Shining in Infrared Light

The Spitzer Space Telescope captured an image, recently released by NASA, of a remnant of supernova HBH 3 shining with infrared light. “The branches of glowing material are most likely molecular gas that was pummeled by a shockwave generated by the supernova,” NASA scientists said.
