Hayabusa2 Drops MASCOT Lander Onto Ryugu’s Surface

Japan’s Hayabusa2 has deployed another lander onto the surface of the asteroid Ryugu. The MASCOT, a German-French collaboration, will flip itself along the asteroid’s surface to study its magnetic field and minerals.
