Black Soldier Fly Larvae Form Feeding Fountain

Researchers took a closer look at black soldier fly larvae food consumption patterns after watching a video of around 10,000 of them consuming an entire pizza in two hours. The larvae flow like a fountain around food, each one bingeing then being replaced by another when it took a break, according to findings published in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface.
