Table salt may be present in Europa’s subsurface ocean
Sodium chloride, or table salt, may be present in the ocean beneath the surface of Jupiter’s moon Europa, a study published in Science Advances suggests. Researchers say the findings may back the possibility that the icy satellite could support alien life.
