E-cigarette use up among young adults in US
The rate of US young adults ages 18 to 24 who used e-cigarettes rose from 5% in 2017 to 8% in 2018, the equivalent of nearly 700,000 new e-cigarette users, researchers reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Young adults’ e-cigarette use increased among men and women across most racial groups and all income levels and among both smokers and nonsmokers.
