About 1,000 images taken by the Curiosity rover between Nov. 24 and Dec. 1 last year have been combined to create a panoramic image of Mars that is the highest resolution to date. The panorama is made up of 1.8 billion pixels, NASA scientists say, and shows the Glen Torridon region near Mount Sharp.
