Roughly four tons of equipment and supplies are on their way to the International Space Station following Friday’s successful launch of a Northrop Grumman Antares rocket carrying a Cygnus cargo ship from NASA’s facility on Wallops Island, Va. A $23 million zero-gravity toilet that is 65% smaller and 40% lighter than those currently in use, designed to better accommodate female astronauts, is part of the cargo.
