Large Bumblebees Memorize Locations of Biggest, Best Flowers

The largest bumblebees recall where the best flowers are while their smaller hive mates aren’t so picky, according to findings published in Current Biology. Big bees use learning flights to scope out the best sources of nectar and observe the flower from different angles to help them remember the location, researchers say.
