Sounds created by humans are filling oceans with noise
An array of noises created by humans is changing the soundscape in the oceans and affecting the creatures that live there, a study in Science suggests. Sounds from shipping, sonar and construction may be disturbing activities such as feeding and communication for sea life as small as larvae and as large as whales, researchers say.
