Satellite images taken nine days apart and released by NASA show the extent of ice and snow loss in Antarctica following record warm temperatures. The images of Antarctica’s Eagle Island ice cap were captured by Landsat 8 on Feb. 4 and Feb. 13, showing a melt of about 10 centimeters.
